“Being so adverse to a permit made me feel a bit skeptical that those electricians were working in line with the most current construction codes and standards. However, the fact that it is customary for Trout to quote with a permit and then with the option to pull your own, made me feel that they were 100% confident in the work they were going to be doing would pass a permit inspection, regardless of if you were actually planning to get a permit or not. Anyway, they were able to install the charger the same day and it didn’t take long at all, maybe an hour or so. They submitted all the permit paperwork to the city and a few weeks later I received a packet in the mail with the permit and all I had to do was call the city and have an inspector come out to sign off on it, which was super easy to schedule. The inspector came out and signed off – the whole process went very smoothly.”

Communication was excellent and the job necessitated coordination with city inspectors and Southern California Edison all on the same day as the install.
