No question was too dumb and they seemed to enjoy answering all of our questions. After Aaron and Kenny were done, we all made sure the cars were charging correctly and everything was working. “The Trout Electric team is exceptional! I needed a full electrical panel upgrade because the old one (Zinsco brand) was unsafe and it partially shorted out. Most people wouldn’t be happy for a panel upgrade, but I’ve always worried about safety with that old panel. The process can be complicated, but Matt and Shane at Trout, and their awesome office coordinator, worked directly with the utility (SDG&E) and the city inspector to make it easy for me. It required utility approval, city permit pre-approval, sequencing of time and date of power shutoff, Trout’s de-install/new install of the panel and all circuit upgrades within a certain time window. Then, the city inspector came to assess and approve the work (permits are absolutely a must!), and then utility returned for power restoration based only after the city inspector’s green light to proceed. The new panel is modern and includes a surge protector. I’ve got all new panel labels and a clean, well-crafter installation. Excellent work!”
